20 Sep Thank You Citizens of San Bernardino County!

Thank you all so much for helping us reach our goal.

A big “Thank You” to all San Bernardino County citizens! With your support and cooperation we were able to collect over 14,000 signatures to place a “Repeal FP-5” initiative on the ballot for June 7, 2022.

Today we are a step closer to repealing the illegal FP-5 tax that was imposed on you by County Supervisors. If approved by voters, the FP-5 levy will no longer be extracted from your pocketbook. This will save you $160 per year.

Keep in mind that opponents of repealing FP-5 will present doomsday scenarios associated with reduced fire services and unsubstantiated claims of rapidly increasing fire insurance charges. Remember that these are simply scare tactics to keep San Bernardino County citizens from repealing the tax.

Stay informed and defend your right to vote. When three elected supervisors voted in favor of FP-5, without placing the issue before voters, they violated the Constitution. We follow the law. So let’s make sure our elected supervisors do the same!
